Babar Azam is still ranked first in the latest ODI rankings.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) men’s ODI batting rankings, Pakistan Babar Azam retained the top spot.

He is currently ranked first with 863 points, earning the Player of the Month award for August 2023.

The gap between Shubman Gill and the Pakistan captain has narrowed significantly, to just 103 rating points, while the India opener has 759.

Although Imam-ul-Haq goes to fifth place and fellow opener Fakhar Zaman drops three spots, Pakistan still has three batters in the top ten.

Haris Rauf (up eight spots to 21st) and Naseem Shah (up 11 spaces to 51st) gained significant ground despite minor injuries against India.

Thanks to his nine wickets at the Asia Cup, Kuldeep Yadav has risen five places to seventh on the latest list of ODI bowlers, while Hardik Pandya has risen four spots to sixth.
