Ben Strockes Records – Break All Records Against New Zealand

In ODI cricket, Ben Stokes broke a prior record for England.
Jason Roy’s previous mark for the highest ODI performance has been beaten by him.

The third One-Day International (ODI) involving England and New Zealand was held at the Kennington, England Oval in London on Wednesday. In a stunning display of power punching, England all-rounder Ben Stokes created his name into the record books by playing an incredible 182 runs off 124 balls.

Because of his amazing effort, Stokes now holds the record for the greatest ODI individual score by an English player.

Overtaking Jason Roy’s Record is Stokes
Jason Roy had held the record, scoring 180 runs in a memorable ODI match against Australia back in 2018, but Stokes’ gallant performance surpassed it. With the bat, Stokes displayed an aggressive style that resulted in nine sixes, 15 fours, and a total of 24 boundaries during his innings.

The Three Thousand Milemark
Stokes’ daring knock not just broke the record but also marked an additional significant turnaround point. He joined the 3000-run club for the first time in ODIs, displaying his all-around ability in the limited-overs game.
